Young guys in this league don't understand urgency. These guys don't understand that you never know what the league brings, the times may bring. I think they do understand what it takes to win here, and they continue to learn that.

A lot of guys are offensive minded, which is good at some points and times but bad at others - at lots of others. I wish I could say I want everybody to play defense as hard as I do. It's not a reality.

I still sing, because that's my true calling. This basketball thing is only for, what, I think another year or so. And then I think I'm gonna switch over to my singing career.

Whoever I suit up for... I'm going to do my job.

My job is to go out there and play. I mean, I guess you could guess who I would rather play for. We're not going to sit here and say that that's a huge secret. I mean, whoever they decided to bring in, my job was to help them win to the best of my ability.

I don't like to lose, man. I think that's where it starts for me. If we're not winning games, then I don't smile too often.

I don't like the phrase 'face of the franchise.' I just want to be a part of it. I think we have a really good team. When we start winning games, it looks a lot better.

I just don't think there have been many people that have understood how important winning is to me.

You can't be selfish in this game. You've got to know, at the end of the day, that it's all about winning. And when you win, everybody looks good.

If your No. 1 priority isn't winning, and people can tell? That's the battle. Now there's a problem between people, because that guy's No. 1 priority is winning, and that guy's isn't.

Minnesota is legit. There's so much space to run, like back home in Texas.

For us to be a really good team, everyone has to guard.
