We have always been dreamers, and we are admittedly overachievers, and coming out of high school, we didn't want to be struggling artists.

We started out as actors. When we were coming out of high school, we didn't want to be struggling actors, and - I remember the conversation - we were like, 'Let's invest in real estate!'

Growing up, we were in a strict household, so we weren't allowed to have posters of our crushes and stuff on the wall - mine was Cristina Applegate.

Sometimes you're running toward your target so hard that you don't stop to reassess.

I'm four minutes older. Of all the competitions in our life, I won the first one. Though Drew is a quarter inch taller.

I've only ever seen a couple tiny home spaces that are actually a clever use of space.

When buyers see the pride of ownership - when they come in, and they're impressed by how clean the place is - they can picture their kids playing on the floor. They can picture the family sitting around the table. When they can picture their own family in that space, instantly you grab them, and they'll pay more money, too.

Nothing will make a place feel unlike home like chaos.

Drew definitely has great design taste. He knows what looks good in a space, and he knows how to put together a design.

At the end of the day, coming home to that one person that you know has your back, there's no better feeling.

I remember, this one time, one of my best friends was living with us for a little while, this place we were renovating. We got back, we'd been cleared out. The place had been robbed. They must have backed up trucks to get the appliances. And our buddy was still sleeping.

You don't need a great green thumb in order to make something look nice. A lot of times, it's just about cleaning up the weeds and trimming back the shrubs.
