Sidharth Malhotra

Growing up, I always wanted to play a fighter.

I think all actors are professional liars.

One day, I received a mail from a female fan saying she had named a star after me. She even mailed me the certificate for it!

Infidelity in a serious relationship? No, I have never had that kind of a conflict. My conflicts have been time elements, geographical elements.

I have some really nice memories of Delhi. Going swimming, roaming around in Defence Colony, cycling in its beautiful, wide lanes, and enjoying good food.

I am still getting used to stardom. It's a great place to be in.

I used to play rugby, which requires a lot of physical strength. The game requires you to get aggressive.

As a kid, I remember my mother always experimenting with bizarre combinations of food such as gulab jamun and pickle! Surprisingly, many years down the line, I have adapted the same.

As an actor, when you don't have a reference to pick from, you experiment, try out new things. And what comes of it eggs you on. You realize your capabilities and push your limits.

I'd like to have a different look for every film. As an actor, I think I should put more emphasis on my performance than on my looks.

I would rather know about different cultures, read about them, and understand them than just blindly follow their rituals. All cultures in India have their own logic.

I would never refuse a film or do a film for a certain amount of money.
