It is important that we take full advantage of the RSC's size, character and the passion of its members to advance our conservative agenda in order to restore America to the 'shining city on a hill' that Ronald Reagan envisioned.

Someday, somehow, the leadership of Planned Parenthood will have to answer for their callous disregard of the sanctity of human life. In the meantime, I am relieved that the Bryan abortion facility has gone out of business.

I fully recognize we need to improve the path to citizenship, just as we need to value the hard work of folks who become American citizens legally.

Mr. Trump needs to show how he will address the critical issues on the minds of Americans: national security and economic opportunity for hardworking American families. Americans need to see more vision and less trash talk.

I don't have all the answers, so my goal is to make sure that the 180-some odd members of the RSC each have a seat at the table where we can talk about their vision.

If they're committed to the mission statement of the RSC, they're going to be happy with me as their chair. If they're committed to another vision, then they may not be happy with me.

What I'd like to see Donald Trump do is start talking about his vision for leading the country and the policies that he would propose that would help hardworking American families who have struggled through the last few years and then also to differentiate himself from Hillary Clinton.

I want to see the next Reagan. I want somebody who brings out the good in Americans and challenges us to aspire to that North Star, someone who wants to empower our families and individuals and communities and let them be free to achieve their dreams. That's what's going to make this country again.

We still have a First Amendment that protects your business and free speech.

Iran continues to explicitly threaten to destroy the state of Israel, America's most important ally in the region. Its leaders continue to shout, 'Death to America.' If Iran wants to be a part of the world community, it should renounce such statements.

I've never said anything about privatizing Social Security.
