You tend to relate to the other person better if you understand their professional needs.

Vivek is a very supportive man. If I am in the kitchen doing something, he comes and helps. I don't think marriage will change anything for us. Our careers will not be affected after marriage. He believes in gender equality and is a man of today's time.

I think the universe was preparing me to be an actor. I never pursued one thing for long, but I was jack of all trades. I was learning everything possible because I knew my father would never shell out money for dresses or parties, but he would always give me money for new courses and books.

Earlier, I thought it would be better for an actress to marry a businessman or a person from other profession, as it offers more stability. But then I realised that if I marry someone who doesn't belong to the same industry , he wouldn't understand my erratic schedules and also the norms of the glamour industry.

As long as there is a new twist in the storyline, there cannot be any space for monotony.

My best memories in life are with my elder sister Priyanka Tiwari and my brother Aishwarya Tripathi.

Playing mother to grown-up kids does not allure me much. I will not feel comfortable. Also, my fans will not like me with grey hair.

Kids in the entertainment industry are at a risk of developing depression, as they see glamour at an early age.

I've always wanted to explore different types of roles and prove to others that Divyanka is not all about being a timid dulhan.

Being a TV actor is quite different from being a movie star, and I always try and highlight my character. It is the reason why I am more inclined to taking frequent sabbaticals: so that when I return, people can identify with the character I play.

No actor can refuse a combination of a good story, a Balaji production, and the show being aired on Star Plus.

I somehow can't remember numbers, names, and faces. I forget very easily.
