For me writing and acting all comes out of the same place, a compulsion to review and connect to something. For me they are more similar than different.

I think in L.A., in terms of the music scene, it's a really strange place. It's really hard to get the feeling that something's happening, or the feeling that something can make it out of there.

When I was a teenager, if you'd asked me, I would have said I was in a relationship with New York City. It was my first real love.

Even though New York may be a more inspiring city, I get more inspired thinking of L.A., in a way. My life there was so much more simple in mind, and quiet.

I love the royal family. I even got up in the middle of the night to watch Kate and William's wedding. And I never miss the Queen's speech on Christmas Day. I feel it's my duty as an English-born woman to watch.

It's always nice to be around family.

I've gotten to learn what's important in life and what's not important, and what to spend energy on and what not to. I don't have a family like some of my teammates, but I have a lot of things pulling at me that I have to put my energy into.

My kids don't call me 'Mom' because I don't want them to. They're Michael's children. It's not that they are not my children, but I had them because I wanted him to be a father.
