Ten commandments yet seven deadly sins: conflict?

I began doing writing projects and art and design projects to explore a new way of seeing Canada. Roots is one more way of continuing this exploration. I want to present a wide-open Canadian sense of color, adventure, communication and openness that defines our country.

Adventure without risk is Disneyland.

Your brain forms roughly 10,000 new cells every day, but unless they hook up to preexisting cells with strong memories, they die. Serves them right.

We recognise in the finished art, which is the result of these conditions, the best words in the best order - poetry; and to put this essential poetry into different classes is impossible.

It seems to me that many writers, by virtue of environments of culture, art and education, slip into writing because of their environments.

The use of travelling is to regulate imagination by reality, and instead of thinking how things may be, to see them as they are.

Reporters have to use their imagination, really put themselves in the shoes of the person they want to interview.
