Writing is something I should have done more of, it's a form of coming home.

We have to keep an eye on the future with a sense of the past in every passing moment of the present.

I think fashion, mishandled, can be quite toxic. It becomes about image and the cult of celebrity. I think when an artist is seen at a lot of parties as a celebrity, I find that worrying. I think it can limit them.

I think the most destructive thing is fear: when people don't want to say what they think.

Part of the joy of dancing is conversation. Trouble is, some men can't talk and dance at the same time.

As to happiness in this life it is hardly compatible with that diminished respect which ever attends the relinquishing of labour.

Our happiness is certainly mixed in with the tragedies of life. You have to find the lemonade. You have to find the silver lining in the middle of everything that happens in life.

When I had to go for surgery, all the country sent positive messages. I was very happy with that, and all I want is to give back some of this happiness I received both with the national team and at my club.
