I think the reason I got into it is because you get to be someone else. There are, like, two percent of people in the actors' union who actually make money off of it, so I feel very blessed to be here.

Sometimes I sneak out into the streets alone, like Princess Jasmine in 'Aladdin.'

I'd love to shoot some of these bigger movies as they come, and I'll go back to theater at some point again.

I have a lot of traditional values I follow personally, which was hard to deal with when I first moved to L.A.

Everyone tells me I need to do comedy. It's never something that crossed my mind, but to be able to do a true comedy and make people laugh, that would be great.

I've done a lot of work other than sci-fi, and between half-hour comedy, stage, and various movie roles, I've really tried to avoid being typecast.

Common sense and a sense of humor are the same thing, moving at different speeds. A sense of humor is just common sense, dancing.

I'll do whatever I can do to remain employed. I'm just not precious about doing comedy or doing drama. I never want to do something in order to prove to other people what I can do.
