Learning to distinguish the illegal immigrant from the legal immigrant does not solve the problem of illegal immigration.

The goal of immigration policy should be what is in the best interests of the American people as a whole. I would recommend limiting immigration to spouses and minor children of citizens, plus additional immigrants chosen for special skills needed in the U.S.

I reject the idea that any job is too hard or too dirty for American workers to do. American workers just expect and demand to be paid a decent wage.

Besides taking jobs from American workers, illegal immigration creates huge economic burdens on our health care system, our education system, our criminal justice system, our environment, our infrastructure and our public safety.

I quite enjoyed doing 'To All the Boys I've Loved Before' because I felt like I got the actual co-ed experience. Because I went to an all-girls school, and that was fun - I love just putting on a uniform and living my life - but I also like to flirt with guys. I didn't get to do that in high school.

I've had an addiction for a long time to the whole business of maximizing one's potential, what I call human activation. The vehicle for actualizing oneself is choice, options, seeking out the proper choices.

Years of cultural programming have taught us to love some animals while eating others, when in all reality, all animals are sentient beings with the capacity to feel, both physically and emotionally. Every day, I have the choice to live a life of compassion that not only saves animals but helps the environment.

As I got older, I realized that my life experience, what I really had, was always going to be more valuable than what I pretended to have.
