I really am opinionated, but not for long. I have found myself coming off of what I think of something because the guy I'm talking to makes better sense than I am. I have so many points of view, I can't keep track of 'em, because I talk to too many people... I'm not so opinionated that I won't budge.

I don't like any female comedians.

Commercial television has underestimated the intelligence of the public.

I'm always thinking about future projects and at the same time trying to finish the project you're in the middle off.

I put a lot of my studies into my music and my writing. I want to be able to address real life issues in a way that not only takes God into account but takes his perspective as we see in His Word. I have a strong desire to be pastor that - I do think it's in my future, but I'm not sure how soon. I do this as a season of preparation for that.

Creativity is not the finding of a thing, but the making something out of it after it is found.

I guess the thing that I'm most proud of is that I kept on writing poetry. I understand that poetry is sort of the source of everything I do. It's the source of my creativity.

I've never been a frustrated person because I learnt at a very young age that the frustration I had inside of me had to do with creativity and the ability to transform that into action. I realized very early my restlessness had to be channelled into things I could do.
