Growing up, I never had a steady home.

We lived in eight or nine different houses and six or seven different apartments growing up.

Growing up, we really didn't have a lot of money.

People who have money have an obligation. I wouldn't say I'm entitled to tell them what to do with it but to use it wisely.

I have invested some money and I have a home, but people don't realise that you might only be working for a few weeks of the year and remain unemployed the rest of the time.

All I wanted to do was write - at the time, poems, and prose, too. I guess my ambition was simply to make money however I could to keep myself going in some modest way, and I didn't need much, I was unmarried at the time, no children.

I mean, anything that money can be made off will never be a problem to make, no matter what it is.
