As a mom, I'm going to be out there still fighting to make sure that every beautiful child has good schools, same communities, and a chance to succeed because God has given everybody unique gifts.

I very happily stand for the right of every man and woman in Pennsylvania to have their voice heard in elections. And when they do have their voice heard, it's nothing short of a privilege to welcome and respect that voice because this is a democracy, and that's what we do.

Our family story here is one that we're proud of, and that is that, as the ninth of 10 kids in our family, I was the first who, right out of high school, was able to go to four-year college... it was a big moment in our family's life.

I want to be part of making sure that decent, honorable, humble, hardworking people in Pennsylvania can look their kids in the eyes. And when they put in their 40 hours, they can say to their kids, 'I got you.'

Progressive leaders always try to take action on the forward edge of that movement, movement toward greater respect for the equal rights of all.

Most businesses think that product is the most important thing, but without great leadership, mission and a team that deliver results at a high level, even the best product won't make a company successful.

One of the best ways to see how critical being present is to effective leadership is to notice what being absent, distracted, hiding something, and/or agenda-driven does to people's ability to trust, respect, and have confidence in you.

Insight essentially means being able to see things other people are not able to see. This is the hallmark of leadership.
