It's hard to get older as an actress. You see a lot of people, especially in L.A., chasing youth.

Every Valentine's Day growing up, my dad would give me a strawberry cream-filled chocolate heart from Russell Stover.

To this day, I still get people calling me Aunt Becky, and I'm not offended by that at all. 'Full House' has afforded me wonderful opportunities in my career.

Surfing is not my strong point. And... I don't really have a tan. I go to the tanning place, the one that sprays you with color.

When I did a study of all the coming-of-age movies that meant a lot to me, whether it was 'The Graduate' or 'Rebel Without a Cause' or 'Dead Poet's Society,' they all had that timeless feel. None of them were completely married to the details of their age. They felt timeless in their treatment of it. That's what made them resonate with me.

I am still a lover of paper books. One of my first jobs was in a bookstore, and I still like to be able to write in a margin and feel the paper. Once inside of a digital device, I end up losing things.
