First love is such a big thing growing up.

Queen is my all-time favorite band in history. I was an obsessive growing up after I discovered them at 10 at summer camp.

I would make hockey movies: I would edit together Flyers games and do highlight reels of goals or fights, which I still have to this day.

The only interaction I had with my brothers is like negative attention where I'd basically egg them on into beating me up - which was delightful! Otherwise, it was me with a video camera jumping on a bed pretending to be the Ultimate Warrior or setting up my robots making a Transformers movie because I was a lonely kid.

A joke's a very serious thing.

I like ones that pertain to the music they make. Talking Heads does that somehow. More often than not band names are just a quirky joke that doesn't really stay funny for very long. It's like Homer Simpson's barbershop quartet, the Be Sharps. At first you're like, 'That's funny!' Then you're like, 'It's not that funny.'

The crisis of today is the joke of tomorrow.

I feel so fortunate to have been able to work so much, particularly in the horror-thriller genre, but I would love to be able to do something perhaps a little more dramatic or even a romantic comedy.
