We live in a homogenized world, where it's hard to get excited when everything is slick and professional. The interesting things are the dull things.

I pride myself in being an aficionado of the British seaside. Throughout my career, I have visited and worked in many of the famous British resorts, from Great Yarmouth to Largs.

Wealthy people have not disappeared, they are just not so willing to show off their wealth.

Today, tomorrow and every day, we will see at least 2,000 young children killed or seriously injured on the world's roads. This is unacceptable, preventable, and we have to stop it. We have the vaccines for this disease: helmets, seatbelts, speed enforcement, safe road design. We just need to use them.

The one thing I regret was that my work required an enormous amount of my time, and a lot of travel.

For a DJ at my level, you can really go through life and travel the world without seeing a single thing. It's harder to go out and see the sights than it is to play a show.

I think mostly it's the adventure that I will have in making the movie. That's what I look for.
