I don't like the women who stand up for the empowerment of women at the expense of men. They try to demonize men, and they try to suggest men all want to keep us down, which is one of the reasons why I don't like that label 'feminist.'

What should matter is whether I stand for female empowerment, and I don't think there are many women out there who have any doubts about that.

In TV, a woman helping another woman break in? Not that common.

So much of male heterosexual comedy can be steeped in a gay panic. A lot of juvenile comedy is predicated on that.

Comedy, surprisingly for a form that intends to bring joy and joviality, is always upsetting people. Jokes rely on broad strokes, stereotypes, caricatures, exaggerations and simplifications.

I get called 'the girl off the dancing horse.' I just laugh; I think it's really funny. It's true, isn't it? It's great we're getting that recognition.

What we've discovered is that Americans seem to love our saucy humor.
