Coming up with your own opinion is hard. When I go to see a movie I don't really know if I enjoyed it, so I ask my wife and listen to people talking on the way out. If they all say it was magnificent I'll agree!

One of the positives of getting older is that you forget your age. Then you find out that you're younger than you thought you were.

All these interesting things people can learn about themselves by watching talented writers comment intelligently on someone else's emotional life.

I was a bit scared because I came from the acting world. There was a fear that people would think of me kind of as a joke. But really, people think of me as a country artist who can act. That's my favorite compliment.
