I've matured - just growing up and learning more about my sport and more about myself.

Understanding how to compete better has really made a difference.

Learning disabilities do not go away, but you learn how to adapt. You may have to work a little bit harder; it may take a long time. You just may do it differently - but you can do it.

It's cool because here everybody has the same goal. We're all competing for our countries. We're all coming down here to do our best. And we all are the best athletes in our own countries.

It's great for my confidence getting a letter saying 'All I want from life, Katie, is you and health.'

Cancer is an emotional disease.

I use a lot of balance training and functional training. Basically it's where you add an element of instability to a regular exercise. So whether it's on the physioball or the Bosu ball or just balancing on one leg, I try to incorporate an instable plane and/or movement to the exercise, so the body's doing two or more movements.

If I eat junk food and have a workout the next day, I feel a significant difference in the way my body responds to exercise. I'm sluggish, tired and run out of energy very quickly.
