I think that ballet and skating definitely go hand in hand, especially growing up at Ballet West, which is an incredible academy.

As a kid growing up, I didn't want to tell any of my classmates I did figure-skating because I knew they'd be like, 'Oh, you're a skater, you're gay, blah blah blah.' So I kept it to myself. Once I started getting to more of an elite level, I didn't really care what people thought, though.

I like the challenge and instant gratification of landing a new jump or learning a new element. That made me fall in love with the sport.

Half of learning a new element is just getting over the fear of doing it. Once you mentally prepare yourself enough to do the jump, that is really half the battle.

People are willing to pay for the right to cheer or boo Roman Reigns. That is your job as a box office attraction. Your job and the manner in which you feed your family is not dependent upon whether the audience respects you or disrespects you. It's dependent on the audience's willingness to pay to see you.

I really don't have a career plan. I like being challenged and thrown around. But it's only acting.

You get an image in the first couple of years of your career, and then whether you like it or not, you are stuck with it for the rest of your life.

There are things that matter more than your election. That may take difficult votes, may take career-ending votes for people, but if we aren't willing to do that, then we're not going to move forward.
