One tends to look back at the mistakes as the same thing - relinquishing control of something at some point in your career.

Watching something being constructed, whether you're passing a building site or whether you're watching an artist at work, is fascinating, and I think that's the enjoyment.

There were a lot of gifted amateurs in my day. Most of the kids now play fantastically well. I think there are so many bands around now who might get there, but it's a tougher journey.

When I see David Attenborough talking about how chimps live, big apes, I just remember my dad and the way he'd look at you. He couldn't speak, but everything else about him was, 'This is us, a family.' Relationships are just as intense as they are for people who can speak. Probably more so.

I love taking photos of all of my family, but Harper is really cute to photograph, and my brother Romeo because of his shaved head. Cruz is just cheeky, so it's always fun to get a picture of him, too.
