Directing was rarely a thought in my head growing up. Especially not when I first began acting or working on my first professional sets.

That's the cool thing about relationships. You're relating to someone else. It's another thing to balance who you are off of.

I think social media has a lot of negative impact and negative effects. These are fairly extreme and horrifying and really gruesome.

I can pour myself into Bon Iver. It's a thing about self- and mental discovery, and those are all important things. But it's not 148-shows-over-a-year-and-a-half important, though. It's a machine, and it's money, and you just get put on this indie rock cart, and it's embarrassing.

Now, I do not, on any level, possess the expertise to argue about the science of anthropological global warming. Nor do you, most likely. This certainly doesn't mean an average citizen has the duty to do the lock step.

The process of being a writer is much more interior than being a scientist, because science is so reactionary.
