When I was learning by myself, despite my parents, despite my teachers, despite society, when I was fighting for building my life as a young wire walker at age 16, I didn't have feelings, I had certainties.

My parents wanted me to have an honorable profession and not to be a jester.

I walk on the wire; it's my profession, and there are no two high wire walks alike.

I am the poet of the high wire - I never do stunts; I do theatrical performances.

I don't mind playing my music live. It's fun. But what my real passion is is writing music.

Although I enjoyed writing Film Music it was always a means to an end, in that it enabled me to keep a wife and family and write my classical music, which has always been my passion.

Clearly, some creative thinking is badly needed if humans are to have a future beyond Earth. Returning to the Moon may be worthy and attainable, but it fails to capture the public's imagination. What does get people excited is the prospect of a mission to Mars.

To be honest, we never, ever let business weigh down the creativity of this band.
