Growing up in bad neighborhoods, you see and experience a lot.

Anything that Havoc or I do is always going to point back to Mobb Deep.

Our first name was the Poetical Prophets before we changed it to Mobb Deep, and when I look back on it now, that was, like, a ill name for us because that is what we really were.

A sickle-cell attack would creep up slowly in my ankles, legs, arms, back, stomach, and chest. Sometimes my lips and tongue turned numb, and I knew I was going into a crisis.

Each project is torturous and joyful, and it's always an inspiration.

My father said he will always support me but just not as an action director. It is a deal between both of us. He is an inspiration because he is a self-made man. I want to set that same example for my kids. I will fight it out.

My main motivation is not to get bored. I'm just hoping I get a vaguely maverick reputation.

I actually learned that you should never give up, and if you love something, take courage and absolutely go after it.
