Growing up, I'd never heard of any female producers or songwriters. I didn't know you could be a girl and produce, which is terrible.

You really notice how you're growing when you go on tour. To be able to tour around the world, and do bigger venues every year, is really, really cool.

In Norway, everyone knows everyone, and everyone is very supportive of each other. If there is anyone new, or a new song is coming out, everyone will probably know about it.

Sometimes you might feel like you're not good enough or unique enough, but everyone is! Everyone has different personalities.

It's funny because, growing up, I found inspiration from watching Steffi Graf and Amanda Coetzer, a South African who was in the top 10 for many years. Oh, and then there's someone I've gotten to know over the last few years: Martina Navratilova.

I just keep getting inspired to believe that dreams come true and anything can happen, 'cause I've watched so many impossible things happen.

When you look at people who are successful, you will find that they aren't the people who are motivated, but have consistency in their motivation.

Iraq did not spontaneously opt for disarmament. They did it as part of a ceasefire, so they were forced to do it, otherwise the war might have gone on. So the motivation has been very different.
