I was a New York Jets fan growing up. My dad said I used to sit there at a very young age and watch football with him and tell him, 'I'm going to play for that team one day.'

I've never wanted to be like anybody. That's something that my dad taught me growing up: 'Never want to be like someone; be the next you.' But I am a fan of the game, I'm a fan of the position, and I watch everyone.

Getting 1,000 yards in the NFL is an amazing accomplishment, and being the first rookie ever for the Giants to do that is even a bigger one. It's big because even though my name might go in the record book, it's not just myself - it's the offensive line play and the guys in the running back room, all those guys have been a tremendous help.

Curtis Martin is as humble as heck. He's one of the greatest running backs to ever play - over 14,000 career rushing yards - and a lot of people don't speak about that.

If it wasn't for my sport and my father, I'd probably be a fallen statistic. I'd be dead; I'd be in jail. Luckily, I had a great dad in my life.

The opportunity and the concept of merging music culture with actual boxing is exciting. It's bringing a younger demographic to the sport.

I think a big part of what has helped me move forward with the sport is my family. We're all so close together, and the support system has been amazing.

You have to be ready to compete. Because lots of people dream that dream, to be the best at something. But are you ready to commit to the hard work that it takes to get there? For me, it just became a part of my life, and it was what it was. Another day, another basketball practice or another game.
