Paul Ryan is loved in our state because he's a conservative who has advocated for conservative policies, and Donald Trump coming out saying favorable things about Mr. Ryan's opponent doesn't add to the number of voters in Wisconsin that'll vote Donald Trump.

I think that bold leadership sells.

In competition, you see people who win and lose, and you have to learn how to lose gracefully. You have to be able to come back in the day and compete again, not hold a grudge, and put everything into the next fight.

Social justice for parties like the DMK, DK and the PMK is nothing but practising dynasty politics. Their concept of social justice is successor and family rule.

The perspective of people who truly believe that abortion is wrong. I understand that, I'm empathetic to that, I get it. But the place where I think we need to come to some kind of an understanding is that... you have your ability to have your own beliefs but the government doesn't play a role in that.

My job as Taoiseach, and the job of any government, of course, is to represent all people.
