Mirzapur's female characters are very strong, liberated women. Infact, the boys are leaning on us and we are contributing to the plot in a very strong manner.

Every element contributes to building a character and I'm especially fascinated when it comes to recreating period looks.

I am not at all in a rush to make a career that only lasts for a short span of time.

In my latest 'Mirzapur,' I had no pressure actually to match up the level of other people in terms of performance because all of our characters were well-written. So there was no sense of insecurity.

I was involved in music, acting, and some running, but my firm wish was to become a doctor. That was the formative age when I had decided on the pattern of my career.

I moved to San Francisco to work at Apple's Cupertino office in the summer of 2006, then stayed on remotely in a part-time job back in Austin. It was an internship with iTunes. I helped them launch new features as well as new marketing programs. I also helped program the iTunes Store every week, working on which artists and albums got featured.

In my career, I am so so happy and grateful for everything I've gotten to do. And yet, I wish I had started off earlier so I could, I don't know... I certainly have not not gotten work because of my age, but I'm just gonna pray and hope that the roles will still keep coming as I get older.

When I read Deborah Brenner's book 'Women of the Vine' about women wine makers, I was impressed that many of the women she had interviewed had come to wine making later in life as a second career.
