We want to be treated as professionals and like the male footballers.

I'm a professional footballer, and I get paid for doing my job.

For the women's team, our job is to be professional footballers for club and country and be the best role models we can be.

I've been playing semi-professional football since I was 14, really.

The books I used to love as a kid, I used to read football books - and by that I mean soccer books - stories about boys in school who started to play football and then became the captain. I'd read them cover to cover. I just got lost in them.

There's this myth that there's no loyalty in football. Well, there's tremendous loyalty and emotion and respect that go into the coaches and players you've gone into battle with. But as an owner, you have to make the decisions that are the right ones for the organization, that are the right ones that will help you win.

Have I ever pretended to be something? I think back in college I think I might have told a girl that I was a professional tennis player once. And then, of course, she had never heard of me so I had to dig deeper. 'I'm just sort of on the playing satellites. You know, I'm kind of working my way up. I'm not ranked in the top 100 or anything.'

Football and school don't go together. They just don't. Trying to do both is like trying to do two full-time jobs.
