I get up, and boy, I can't wait to paint and study music and keep learning. I just love it.

No matter what age you are, there's a lot of room for learning.

I still have a lot to learn. I'm concentrating on learning a lot more about music.

Fame comes and goes. Longevity is the thing to aim for.

I'm fortunate enough to have learned not to waste time getting frustrated with my kids, or co-workers, or friends and family for not doing everything I wish they would. If someone doesn't respond to me the way I want them to, I understand that it doesn't have anything to do with me.

My son, he is the reason I got involved. It's been a joy to be around him and teach him the stuff that I know, and to the other kids as well. When he started playing I wanted to be involved in his hockey career. It's a lot of fun for both of us.

My father would read me Page Six instead of, like, kids' stories.

When I defend our right to hunt and fish on public lands, rivers and streams. Or work for better schools. And more good paying jobs that can support a family. Those aren't political issues to me. They're personal.
