I believe when the music is being sung or being played, at the end of it, there's some sort of grace and understanding. And that's all I want for humanity. I just want us to understand each other. That's the point of my music.

In this life, I've learned to be patient. And I'm still learning... Even now, I wish things would go quicker.

The Declaration of Independence is that sacred American text so full of meaning and purpose and yet quite empty if you examine it and pull it apart because the words 'All Men' exclude a vast number of citizens.

Boxing is my true calling. I've found my purpose in life.

When you lose work, the meaning and purpose of life are taken away from you, and isolation can set in.
