Growing up in the ghetto is pretty hard. It's poverty; it's frustration.

Being funny wasn't a career choice growing up, it was my way out of situations; a way to survive another day.

My life growing up was a twisted Bronx version of 'The Color Purple.' It had a much different soundtrack and no trees, but that desperation was the same.

It was the beginning of our second career. We certainly had a full career - 15 years at it - before it came out, but 'Eliminator' had a tremendous impact on us and the people who listen to us.

I was always goofing around. I suppose having a father who was an actor made you think that it was a real possibility as a career.

It's my dream career to do as many different things as possible and for as long as possible, to stretch myself in as many different directions as I can.

I've had a very laughable career and what has seen me through is my sense of humor.
