It's not the most intellectual job in the world, but I do have to know the letters.

It is what it is, and it's a crazy job - I literally touch letters and wear pretty clothes, and how do you describe that job? It's weird, but I've been doing it for a long time, and I'll be first to make fun of it - I really will - but I wouldn't trade it for anything else in world.

What people don't know about me is that I'm a pretty good businesswoman. Yes, I do this little ol' game show, but I know the show isn't going to last forever, so I've gone into different ventures. But I don't want to sound like I'm bragging.

Until my early teens, I lived with my mother in New York, and I spent a lot of time in the company of her friends, mostly artists and designers, such as Andy Warhol, Ross Bleckner and Francesco Clemente, none of whom had kids, so I was like their shared child.

My wife is way funnier than I am. As much as I don't really feel I share a sense of humour with my family, I definitely share one with her - we find the same things funny.

I did not want to raise a genetically compromised child. I did not want my children to have to contend with the massive diversion of parental attention, and the consequences of being compelled to care for their brother after I died. I wanted a genetically perfect baby, and because that was something I could control, I chose to end his life.

Whether I was working or not, I am not a good cook or a good seamstress. I love my kids, and I provide for them, but do I think that I'm a great mom? Not by any means, other than that they're full of love. I rely heavily on nannies and my mother and my husband to fill in all over the place where I'm lacking.
