When I was growing up, my father never got his profession to the house. We didn't discuss films on the dining table.

Whatever understanding I have of filmmaking is because of my stint as an assistant director on 'Gangs of Wasseypur.'

As a fighter, I recognise that the one thing we fight for is prizes. The one thing that motivates us is money. A lot of fighters do come back because of money. The biggest spur they have is financial, and thank God my finances were secure, and I didn't need to come back for that reason.

Everyone is tearing each other apart in the name of their personal god. And the irony is, by definition, they're probably worshiping the same god.
