The truth is we just have a normal life, because we do have a church where our children are growing up pastor's children. And we just try to keep it really normal.

You may have made some mistakes, but just like a parent helps their child when they are learning to walk, God will help you get right back up anytime you fall.

Even in the tough times, He's still a good God.

If you just can't seem to get ahead, you might need to check your priorities. If you've had difficulties setting your priorities, ask God to help you.

We often compare the experience of writing a book to that of playing God. It is up to us, and only us, to determine what happens to the people we invent. It is for us alone to determine what is good and bad, just and unjust, appropriate and inappropriate for the worlds we create. I love that about writing books.

Grace is available for each of us every day - our spiritual daily bread - but we've got to remember to ask for it with a grateful heart and not worry about whether there will be enough for tomorrow.
