As a kid growing up - I can see now - it didn't matter what I did, as long as it was something I could be really good at. Cycling just happened to be the opportunity that came along.

In football, like in life, you must learn to play within the rules of the game.

For me, sports is a big part of my life. It helped me through high school. It helped me get better grades, because if you don't have good grades, you can't play sports.

I wasn't concerned with the money stuff; I only wanted to play football.
