I've always enjoyed gaming, but even as I got older, and I started to get deeper into writing and all this stuff that is my grown-up job, I couldn't play as much as I used to.

Whether by my own volition or otherwise, I was given a year-and-a-half break after Dad passed. It was kind of like an elephant in the room, and everyone was giving me space, whether I wanted it or not.

Hummingbirds are fun and flighty and strange. It's hard to keep them in one place, and Dad was a bit like that.

I can imagine Dad joking about how hard it'd be to get an actor to give back when it's hard enough to ask them to give a good performance.

My mother had abandoned the family, so grandmother raised me. And she was instrumental in that she taught me that the world is a glorious place. She taught me to embrace humanity. And she'd say there's never an excuse for joy. And to be thankful.

I definitely feel like there's a lot of terrible things on the Internet, obviously. You can really pretty much find anything on there. It's pretty awful. And the crazy thing is that we don't even access that much of it - it's like the dark web or whatever. It's the other Internet that we don't even access.

Social media is social. We're looking to touch one heart at a time. With one great story at a time.

I am not from a film family. I don't know much, but I definitely knew that if I want to be a good enough actor, I should be able to do any sort of role.
