That's when the great stuff happens, when you're not checking yourself all the time, being critical of yourself and what other people are doing.

I'm not the guy with the enormous comedy nose or the big feet or the bad posture or the whatever; a physical comic has certain things.

When I listen to the complaints that follow just about every presidential debate, I'm reminded of the well-worn joke about the Jewish mother who buys her son two shirts. When he shows up at dinner wearing one, she says: 'What's the matter? You didn't like the other one?'

To do comedy, you have to be a pretty good actor to start with.
